Carnegie Hill. Museum Mile. Yorkville. Streets lined with prewar classics and modern luxury buildings that rarely turn over.
You chose this neighborhood because it's residential without being sleepy. Cultural without being pretentious. Family-friendly without being suburban.
Your building has a gym. Probably a very good one. And it's likely sitting empty right now while you're considering your third trip this week to the overcrowded Equinox on 92nd & Lexington.
Your building gym is 30 seconds from your apartment. Why are you leaving?
10028 isn't about flash. It's about substance. The Guggenheim. The Cooper Hewitt. The Jewish Museum. Neighborhood restaurants you've been going to for 15 years. Tree-lined streets where you actually recognize your neighbors.
Your fitness should reflect that same authenticity. Not performative Equinox workouts. Real training. Real results. In your real building gym.
If you're anywhere in 10028 – from 79th to 96th Street, from Lexington to Fifth Avenue – we're already training in buildings on your block.

If you live in a prewar building (and most of 10028 is prewar), your building gym probably has:
These gyms may not be Instagram-worthy, but they're functional, private, and part of your monthly maintenance fees.
Stop paying for fitness twice (maintenance + Equinox). Use what you're already funding.
You're surrounded by world-class culture:

If you live at 88th & Madison, you're walking 6 blocks to Equinox. 12 blocks round trip. Three times per week. That's 86 miles of walking per year just to access a gym that's crowded when you arrive.
Your building gym is empty. And it's an elevator ride away.
Stop walking to Equinox. Start training in your building.
Q: Do you train in Carnegie Hill prewar buildings?
A: Yes. About 60% of our 10028 clients live in prewar buildings. Many have beautiful original gyms with great equipment. Prewar construction also means quieter, more private training environments.
Q: I'm near the Guggenheim/Cooper Hewitt. Do you train in that area?
A: Absolutely. We have multiple clients in buildings along Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue in the high 80s and low 90s. Museum Mile is one of our most popular training areas.
Q: Can you work around school schedules (drop-off and pickup)?
A: Yes. Many 10028 parents train 9:30am-12pm (after drop-off, before pickup) or 8:00-9:00pm (after kids' bedtime). We build training schedules around family commitments.
Q:I work from home in Carnegie Hill. Can we train mid-day?
A: Perfect. Mid-day sessions (10am-2pm) are ideal for work-from-home professionals. Building gyms are typically empty during these hours. Train during lunch, shower at home, back to work in 90 minutes.
Q: My building gym is small. Is that a problem?
A: No. We've trained clients in tiny 10028 building gyms (single room, basic dumbbells) and created amazing transformations. We bring portable equipment if needed. Size doesn't limit results.
Q: How does pricing compare to Equinox?
A: Equinox membership: ~$250/month. Personal training: $150-350/session. For 12 sessions/month you'd pay $2,050-4,450 total. We're $3,200/month all-inclusive with private in-building training.
Q: Do you train couples together?
A: Yes. Semi-private training ($1,600/month per person) is very popular in 10028. Many couples train together while kids are at school. Same programming, accountability, split the cost.
Q:I have early morning museum board meetings. Can we train at 6am?
A: Absolutely. Many 10028 clients with morning commitments train 6:00-6:45am. You're showered and ready for your 8am meeting, already more accomplished than most people will be all day.
Q: What if I'm over 60? Is this safe?
A: Yes. We have many 10028 clients in their 60s and 70s. Training is adapted to your fitness level and any limitations. Age is not a barrier. In fact, strength training becomes more important as we age.
Q: What's your cancellation/rescheduling policy?
A: 24-hour notice required. We understand work travel, family emergencies, and schedule changes. With 24-hour notice, we'll reschedule. Same-day cancellations count as a used session.
You live in 10028 because you value quality, culture, and community over flash and pretension.
Your building gym embodies those same values.
Stop commuting to crowded Equinox locations. Start training 30 seconds from your apartment door.
P.S. We only accept 3 new transformation clients per month across all of the Upper East Side. If you're in 10028 (79th-96th Street) and ready to commit to real results, secure your spot now.
