How do I get started with Penthouse Athletic Club?

contact form. We'll tour your building gym, discuss your goals, and recommend the best program for you. No obligation, no sales pitch.
What happens during the assessment?
We meet you at your building, assess the available gym equipment, discuss your goals and timeline, and create a preliminary program outline. The assessment takes about 15 minutes. If we're a good fit, we can schedule your first session within 48 hours.
Do you serve my building?
If you live on the Upper East Side between 59th and 96th Streets, we likely serve your building. We're approved vendors in 50+ UES buildings. Even if we haven't worked in your building before, we can coordinate access with your building management.
What if my building gym doesn't have equipment?
Most modern UES buildings have adequate gym equipment. We've successfully trained clients in buildings with minimal equipment by bringing portable tools (resistance bands, TRX, kettlebells). During your assessment, we'll determine if your building gym works for your goals.

How much does personal training cost?
Transformation Programs: 12-Week Executive Makeover ($8,500), Wedding Protocol ($7,200), Emergency 30-Day ($6,000).

What's the difference between transformation programs and ongoing training?
Transformation programs are fixed-duration, outcome-focused programs (12 weeks, 8 weeks, 30 days) designed to achieve a specific result. Ongoing training is month-to-month with no end date, ideal for maintaining results or building long-term performance.
Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Transformation programs can be split into 2-3 monthly payments (3% processing fee applies). Ongoing training is billed monthly. Contact us to discuss payment options.
What's included in the price?
All programs include: personalized training sessions, custom nutrition guidance, weekly progress tracking, unlimited text/email support, and access to your trainer's direct line. Transformation programs also include body composition analysis and detailed progress reports.

Better Body or Better Deal guarantee: If you follow the program and don't see measurable results in the first 4 weeks, we'll refund 50% of your investment and extend your program by 4 weeks at no charge.

Building Logistics
How do you get access to my building gym?
You provide access by either: (1) meeting us in the lobby and escorting us to the gym, (2) getting us approved as a vendor through your building management, or (3) giving us a temporary access fob if your building allows it. We handle all coordination with building management.
What if other residents are using the gym?
We schedule sessions during off-peak times when possible (early morning 6-8 AM, mid-morning 9-11 AM, or mid-afternoon 2-4 PM). Most UES building gyms are empty during these windows. If the gym is crowded, we adapt the workout or reschedule.
Can you train me in my apartment instead of the building gym?
Yes, if you prefer. We can conduct sessions in your apartment if you have adequate space (roughly 8×8 feet minimum). We'll bring all necessary equipment. Note: Some exercises are more effective with gym equipment, but we can design excellent apartment-based programs.
Training Details
How long are training sessions?
Sessions are 60 minutes. This includes a brief warm-up, the main workout, and cool-down/stretching. We maximize every minute — no wasted time talking or checking phones.
How often do I need to train?
Most programs require 2-3 sessions per week. The 12-Week Executive Makeover is typically 3x/week. Wedding Protocol can be 3-4x/week. Emergency 30-Day is 6x/week (daily except Sunday). Frequency depends on your goals and timeline.
What if I need to reschedule a session?
We require 24-hour notice for cancellations. Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice are forfeited (except emergencies). We understand things come up — we're flexible with advance notice.
Do you provide nutrition guidance?
Yes. All programs include custom nutrition guidance. We don't do rigid meal plans or calorie counting — instead, we provide flexible eating strategies that work with business dinners, travel, and real life. Nutrition add-on coaching available for +$400/month.
What if I've never worked out before?
Perfect. Many of our clients haven't exercised in years (or ever). We start with your current fitness level and build progressively. You won't be thrown into boot camp-style workouts — everything is customized to what you can handle.
Results & Timeline
How fast will I see results?
Most clients notice increased energy and better sleep within the first week. Visible body composition changes typically appear in weeks 3-4. Full transformation results (15-20 lbs fat loss, significant muscle gain) generally take 8-12 weeks.
What kind of results can I expect?
Typical 12-Week Makeover results: 15-25 lbs fat loss, 3-6 lbs muscle gain, 3-5 inches off waist, improved energy, better sleep, increased strength. Results vary based on starting point, adherence, and genetics. We track weekly progress to ensure you're on pace.
What happens after my transformation program ends?
You have three options: (1) Continue with ongoing training to maintain results (discounted rate for graduates), (2) Transition to semi-private training, or (3) Graduate with a maintenance plan you can follow on your own. Most clients choose option 1 or 2.
Can I really get results training in my building gym?
Absolutely. Results come from progressive overload, proper nutrition, and consistency — not from fancy equipment. Most UES building gyms have everything needed (dumbbells, cable machines, cardio equipment). We've transformed hundreds of clients in building gyms.
