Are your trainers insured and background-checked?
Yes. Every Penthouse Athletic Club trainer carries professional liability insurance and is fully bonded. All trainers undergo comprehensive background checks before working with clients. We also hold national certifications (NASM, ACE, ISSA, or equivalent) and maintain CPR/AED certification. We understand that UES building management requires trainers to meet strict credentialing standards—we exceed those standards.
What if I've never worked with a personal trainer before?
Most of our clients had never hired a personal trainer before working with Penthouse Athletic Club. Michael isn't a 24-year-old with an Instagram certification. He's a decade-deep fitness professional who has owned and operated multiple training studios, coached professional athletes, and trained some of Manhattan's most successful executives.
Before fitness, Michael built a career spanning MTV Networks, Fox Television, strategic communications, and government affairs at Exelon. He understands the executive lifestyle because he's lived inside it. He knows what it means to have a calendar that doesn't breathe, a body that's been neglected, and ambitions that demand peak performance.
